About Me
Welcome to Taylormade…Art by Jennifer.
I just love Anne Neilson’s book Angels. I was initially drawn to her beautiful paintings of angels, like many others, but as I started reading each chapter, I was filled with her inspiration. I have been blessed with a gift; that is a gift with a small “g”, not a large “G”. I have a small amount of talent, but a large amount of passion for painting. It has become my therapy, my happy place and my refuge. I am so grateful for the desire to paint as it fills each day with purpose.
I am a mother of three amazing adult children and they are all finding their own dreams. I find myself in a new season of life; it’s just me now and I long for purpose. My studio is only steps away from my bedroom. Each day begins with the excitement for what will be created on the easel.
Many nursery wall murals were the extent of painting career when my children were young. When I became an empty nester, I picked up the paint brush and started painting; I painted on and off until Covid hit, and then YouTube painting classes helped fill my days on lockdown. My friends and family now have as many paintings as can fill their walls, so it is time to share my art with the public. A new artist friend, Leah Wilkerson, shared the following quote and I told her I was stealing it from her. “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom.” (Anais Nin) This sums up my new journey.
I am here to share my interpretation of the beauty God has placed around me and to share my gifts, with a little “g” He has blessed me with. I paint in acrylics and oils. My faith has brought me through so many challenging times in life, so I want to incorporate my inspiration and share my faith journey through my art.
Thank you for visiting my site and letting me share my inspiration,
Jennifer Taylor Farish

Dear God, thank you for granting me Your precious gifts. Thank You for calling me to be Yours and entrusting me with these gifts and abilities. Help me stop wishing for someone else’s talents and instead, walk confidently in my own so that I can glorify You all the days of my life.
